American Gold Fever Game Background

American Gold Fever features a mining theme, a popular theme utilised by other games such as Shamrock Miner and Badger Miners. The background features the inside of a mine shaft. There are lots of black and brown colours as a lot of this shaft is encased in shadows. There are lamps hanging from the ceiling and dimly lighting up the walls. There are also mine cart wheels on the ground, as well as rocks to either side of the playgrid. To the left of the playgrid, there is an animated miner character who joins the player throughout the gameplay experience. 

The grid set-up of American Gold Fever is quite unique compared to most UK online slots, with five different grids. Four of the five grids are held up by old wooden boards, while the fifth is presented in front of a piece of wood between two wooden barrels. These barrels also have a pickaxe and shovel resting against them.

The gameplay of American Gold Fever is unique and unlike anything we have seen in a slot game before. There are four different play tables, each consisting of a random selection of numbers. With every spin, the fifth grid is filled with lottery balls and numbers. When the player presses play, a total of 30 balls will be drawn. If the numbers on these balls match the numbers on the four grids, then they will be crossed off on the four play tables.

The goal of American Gold Fever is to create patterns across the boards vertically. Different patterns will award different values to the player. At the end of every spin, there will also be 12 barrels, each of which contains random balls. Players can use more of their bet stake to open these barrels in order to try and make more patterns. 

American Gold Fever Bonus Features

American Gold Fever has multiple bonus features, which makes this innovative slot even more interesting. First of all, when choosing from the barrels, there is a chance of receiving a wild ball. These balls can be applied to any number on the 4 grids that the player chooses, similar to in slot games where the wild symbols can step in to form winning combinations in play.

Then there are the bonus pattern rounds, of which there are 3 available. Bonus Pattern 1 triggers the Mine Shaft bonus, which has 5 levels. Each level contains 4 options to pick from, which can reveal either a random value, a next-level sign, or nothing at all. Revealing a value will provide the player with that value and move them to the next level. Revealing next level awards no prize and moves players onto the next level, and revealing nothing will end the round. 

The second bonus round available is the Golden Mine Cart bonus. This also has 5 levels. Each level has 3 mine carts, which can contain either a cash value or a collect symbol. If the player earns a value, they progress to the next round; if they earn a collect symbol, the round ends. 

The third available bonus is the mine picker bonus. Players are presented with 8 different items of mine equipment, each containing either a cash value or a collect sign. If the selected item has a prize, the player receives this value and continues picking; however, if they select a collected item, the round ends. 

In addition, like many other jackpot slots, there are 4 jackpots available. Players are rewarded by collecting 6 or more golden nuggets, which can be found within random ball numbers.
