Diamond Sands Slot

As proposed by the title, Diamond Sands takes on a Vegas-inspired theme, highlighted by the inclusion of the diamond. Introduced to the market in 2022, this title possesses a whole host of visuals that cater towards classic inspirations, blending with more modern motifs through the use of beach-related imagery, an inclusion that has become increasingly popular in online slot games. In addition to this, a simplistic gameplay structure is integrated, despite hosting a few bonus features.

Diamond Sands Game Background

Focusing on the gameplay, the Diamond Sands slot looks to create a more straightforward style, influenced by the use of a 5x3 playtable. A total of 243 individual paylines are implemented within this grid, contrasting with modern mechanics that could be found in Megaways slots, allowing combinations to be unlocked when 3 or more of the same symbol land in adjacent reels. Whilst an easy-to-understand format is presented throughout Diamond Sands, there are still a few bonus features that could be triggered.

The background of Diamond Sands highlights the beach theme by presenting a landscape built up of blue skies overlooking a sandy coastline with palm trees and umbrellas scattered across the display. Alongside this, the playtable is presented with a golden border that is also used to distinguish the different reels, a colour which is often found in Vegas-inspired slots. In terms of the reels themselves, they are presented with a transparent backdrop that allows the background to remain visible but still ensures the symbols can be distinguished throughout the Diamond Sands gameplay.

Using beach-related imagery within slot design is not uncommon in modern slot games, with a few other titles presented with a similar setting to Diamond Sands, including Wild Beach Party and the 3 Wonders Santa On the Beach slot.

Diamond Sands Slot Symbols

Slot symbols in Diamond Sands are designed to match both the aesthetic as well as the aesthetic already emphasised by the backdrop. The lower-value symbols blend playing cards and chips, both of which are often found in live casino games. On the other hand, the lower-value symbols are instead represented by imagery that caters more towards the Vegas inspirations of Diamond Sands. Nonetheless, all symbols within this game are presented with the same art style, ensuring consistency, and are assigned a set number value that could be unlocked as a result of a combination.

Lower-Value Symbols:

  • Diamond

  • Club

  • Heart

  • Spade

Medium-Value Symbols:

  • Glass

  • Camera

Higher-Value Symbols:

  • Watch

  • Bottles

There are a few bonus symbols that could land during the Diamond Sands gameplay, presented to correspond with the other visuals across the display. These symbols include a gold bar as a Value, a star as a Bonus Token, a Sunset Diamond as Free Spins, a blue diamond, and a Collect symbol.

Diamond Sands Bonus Features

Each time a Bonus Token lands in view of the Diamond Sands playtable, there is a chance that the Diamond Wheel feature could be triggered. This mode provides players with a single spin of the reels, revealing one of the available Jackpots, which include:

  • Big - 20x the stake

  • Major - 50x the stake

  • Mega - 250x the stake

  • Diamond - 6000x the stake

Sunset Free Spins can be unlocked in Diamond Sands by landing 3 of the corresponding Scatters on reels 1, 3, and 5. In this mode, players are awarded a total of 10 initial spins, providing gameplay that remains the same as the base game in terms of paylines and playtable structure. In addition, there is a Collect that can land on the reels, accumulating and unlocking all Values that land simultaneously. As Sunset Diamond symbols land, they are collected in a Multiplier Reel, which can increase throughout the mode, resulting in additional spins and combination multipliers.

Diamond Sands Mobile Play

Diamond Sands is implemented with HTML5 software during its development, meaning it can be played on different devices, including smartphones, tablets and PCs. Access on different screen sizes is the result of this technology being used, which is also utilised within various other titles here at BOYLE Casino, only requiring players to have a strong and secure connection to the internet.

The Diamond Sands slot aims to create a set of visuals that are inspired by both the beach setting as well as the Vegas theme, two genres that are well established in the modern-day slots industry. Complementing this, a more simplistic base game format is presented, with development in the form of a few bonus features. The focus of the Vegas theme appears throughout Diamond Sands, and can also be found in a similar style in other top titles, such as Vegas Rush and the Chicks in Vegas 10,000x Link and Win slot.
